My Age Zimbabwe Trust a hub for leadership development

Some quarters are of the notion that leaders are born and others are of the standing that leaders are made. At My Age Zimbabwe Trust we we believe that a leader is born and made and if born, leaders will still need some kind of making
My Age Zimbabwe Trust has done it once again to prove how effective and empowering its leadership development initiative is to the Zimbabwean youth with yet another success story being recorded in the organizations history book.
This past weekend, saw My Age Zimbabwe Trust’s Advocacy and Communications officer Tinotenda Thulani Kabai being elected to become the National Facilitator (2016- 2017) of the Young People’s Network on Sexual Reproductive Health, HIV and AIDS (YPNSRHHA) which automatically makes him the President of the African Youth and Adolescent Network for Population Development (AFRIYAN) respectively.
To highlight how proficient our leadership grooming is, the outgoing National Facilitator is the Founder and Executive Director of My Age Zimbabwe Trust, Onward Gibson Chironda who led the Network from 2013-2015.
The YPNSRHHA is an arm under the National AIDS Council of Zimbabwe that coordinates a multi- sectorial response to Sexual Reproductive Health, HIV and AIDS among youth serving organizations in Zimbabwe. Since its inception in November 2007 the network that works with young people from 10- 24 years, has successfully decentralized to all 85 districts that make up the 10 provinces in Zimbabwe.
At My Age we are committed to see the development and grooming of youth leaders who are accountable, goal oriented, people centered, assertive, effective communicators and negotiators summing up to FIRM ADVOCATES.
The Founder and Executive Director, Onward Chironda and the My Age Zimbabwe Trust family would like to congratulate Tinotenda Kabai the Incoming National Facilitator for the YPNSRHHA wishing him and the team all the best during their tenure in office to advocate for the youth aiming at ending AIDS by 2030.
